Echuca Steamboat Festival
Dirk I decided to take the kids on a little family weekend away since he had friday off! After searching places all day Thursday, Echuca came up! and what better time since the Steamboat festival was on that weekend!
It took up about 3 1/2 hours tog et there! The kids had their moments an so did mummy!!! haa but over all the weekend was great and we had LOTS of fun!
Some things we enjoyed was our River Cruise on the Murry on the S.S Canberra, Our Coach Ride around the town, watching the Punch & Judy Show, Visiting all the baby animals, the little stalls along the street from fresh made honey, Caramel Apples covered in chocolate & nuts, the variety of fudges and lollies, Old Book Shops, great little heritage cafe's and all the historic venues like the museum! That was my fav! We went to the movies and took the kids to the park, watched the marching band and all the amazing machines ride up and down the street, old cars, people dressed in olden day style clothing, it really was like stepping back in time!
The Murry River was great to see. I have so much to write but i'll save it for my scrapbooking !! but here are a few pic's from the weekend.
